Week 9: Duet Round

38 contestants were divided into 19 pairs. Out of which 23 contestants were spot selected and 6 contestants were spot rejected. 9 contestants were put on waiting list and out of the wait list contestants 2 were rejected.

In this round the contestants were asked to pick up lots to find out their pairs. As the round is a duet round 2 contestants together had to performe the song. It was a combination of Male - Female duet, Male - Male duet and also Female - Female duet.Songs were given to them on spot with options. The songs were registered on a first come first serve basis where they had to choose songs with their pair from the options avaliable in the board and then register that song. They were given some time to practise on the song and then present it in front of the judge.
