The Concept:

Amul Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Dheva will be a show that provides a great platform for those above 16 years to showcase their dancing talents which will be judged by India’s leading choreographer – Prabhu Dheva.

His dance choreography has won him many allocades on the national platform; and he is considered as India’s answer to Michael Jackson. This dance legend has choreographed for over 100 movies in most Indian languages.

Vijay TV presents an excellent opportunity for those who wish to make a mark in the field of dancing in any style.
The first level of ground auditions took place in Trichy and Coimbatore. Choreographers Sridhar Master and Gautham (Son of Major Sundarajan) were the judges for the Trichy and Coimbatore zonal auditions. Out of the 600 interested contestants, only 23 from Trichy and 27 from Coimbatore were qualified for the next level respectively.

The next set of auditions will take place in Madurai on August 09, 2008 from 8am onwards in VIKAASA School, Ponnagaram Compound (Opposite Madura Coats), Madurai - 625016. Interested candidates (male & female) between the age group of 16 to 35 can participate in Madurai's first level auditions. The participants can perform to any song of their choice by bringing a CD along. Participants will be allowed to audition on a first come first serve basis.

Special entries are also provided for those who buy the 500 gm refill pack of Amul Shakti. They need to fill in the application form that comes along with Amul Shakti on the day of auditions. Only first 100 entries will be given a chance to perform at the audition. Also Vodafone subscribers need to dial 567498 and can pre-register their names for the auditions.

Choreographers Sridhar Master and Gautham (Son of Major Sundarajan) will be the judges for the Trichy zonal auditions.

Selected contestants will then be put through many competitive rounds and only the hottest pair of dancing feet will win the title and prize money of Rs 10 lakh.
