Vijay TV presents an all new music competition - "Kumaran Silks Paadum Office"

Corporate life is hectic with its unimaginable deadlines and unforeseen targets. Employees of big MNC giants spend all their energy and time in meeting expectations of their superiors and peers... As the saying goes - "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"; Vijay TV presents a great stress relief for these highly stressed employess - Kumaran Silks Paadum Office, starting November 24, 2007.

Airing every Saturday at 7pm, this music competition is the first of its kind on Tamil television.

Kumaran Silks Paadum Office, will create a platform for the employees from leading corporate offices to showcase their singing talents. Leading IT and BPO companies in Chennai like CTS, TCS, ABN AMRO, Infosys etc., have enrolled themselves in this music competition.

This music competition bears witness to many outstanding performances from employees in all rungs of the corporate ladder. One main criteria for the participants is that they need to be skilled in Carnatic and Light music. Each company will sing in three categories i.e Carnatic Solo, Light Music Solo and Light Music Group.

Apart from showing the actual competition on stage; the show also has snippets of the rehearsal sessions backstage. The show is hosted by none other than Chinmayi; a popular playback singer and the popular host Kavitha.

The jury for this grand music competition of the corporates consists of many popular singers like Rajesh Vaithya, Sowmya, Mathangi, Vinaya, Sangeetha, music composer - Joshua Sridhar, actor Prassana and playback singer Krish.
