Vodafone Kalakka povathu Yaaru 4... On its way!

The first comedy show "Kalakka Povathu Yaaru" on Vijay TV has seen three successful seasons, introducing many talented performers who have become popular among the television viewers. Kalakka Povathu Yaaru season 1, 2, and 3 has showcased innumerable talents in the field of comedy and humor for its viewers to enjoy and relish.

Continuing the stride of its success over 3 years, Vijay TV launches " Vodafone Kalakka Povathu Yaaru 4 - Kalakkal Aarambam", which is once again a prominent recognition for the true talents.

Over 1000 talented participants took part in the auditions that were held in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Tanjore districts, out of which 60 were selected. These participants will make their first appearance in Vodafone Kalakka Povathu Yaaru 4 - Kallakal Aarambam from January 25, 2008 on all Fridays at 10pm.

The fourth innings of this show has a lot up its sleeve! The big prize money of Rs. 5 lakhs is waiting for the comedy king who wins "Kalakka povathu yaaru 4" title. The winner will not just take home the prize money but will also get a chance to host one of the popular show on Vijay TV along with a rare chance to act in a feature film. This season will have mimicry, stand-up and variety giving chance for all the talented performers.

The judges for this season are Uma Riyaz and actor Pandiyarajan. Ramya and Sethu are the hosts for the fourth season.
