Here is one of Vijay TV’s longest running shows, Madan’s Thirai Parvai, a show that will be treating the film fraternity to an exciting event on its 200th episode. Looking beyond ratings, which are consistent, the one-hour show on Sunday mornings has gained the respect of the the film fraternity, one community most critical to Tamil television after the viewing public.

Hosted by Madan, an ace cartoonist and former Joint Editor of the weekly Ananda Vikatan and its sister publication Junior Vikatan the 200th episode was was envisaged as a forum to let the film fraternity discuss issues of relevance to the industry with a view to improving the quality of Tamil cinema. Blatant honesty prevailed, perhaps in keeping with Madan’s style of film reviews.

In a shift from the usual format, this time it will the questioner Madan questioned by an audience from the industry. So don't miss all that fun and excitement on January 1, 2006 starting 9 AM only on Vijay TV!
