Stayfree Secure Dry Ultra Thin Kaana Kaanum Kaalangal, the popular serial on Vijay TV running successfully for more than 300 episodes, reminisces the joys and sorrows of school life dwell in the hearts of one and all.

Set against a school drop this serial revolves around the adolescent lives of Pandi (Lingesh), Pachai (Madhu), Raghavi (Hemalatha), Unni (Iyappan), Rishi (Stalin); and their juniors Haritha, Priya, Dinesh, Kiran, Sriram and Ragavendra split into two groups the rivalry between the 2 groups and the ensuing conflicts form the crux of the story.

Interested candidates between the age of 14 to 22 can participate in the first level of auditions that will be held at VIKAASA School, Ponnagaram Compound (Opposite Madura Coats), Madurai - 625016 on June 28, 2008 from 8am onwards. Candidates can come dressed in any attire / disguise of their choice to portray their acting skills better.

The acting skills of the contestants will be judged by some well known luminaries of the small screen. Only the first 500 walk-ins will be allowed to audition in Madurai.

Over 800 took part in the auditions that took place in Chennai last week. 'Madurai' fame Senthil, Koothupattarai Kalairani, Popular TV host Vijay Adiraj and Raviraj, HOD Direction Department (FTIT) were the judges from Chennai zone who chose 22 from the 800 who participated in the first level of auditions. Following Chennai and Madurai, auditions have been planed in Coimbatore city as well. The chosen faces from each of the zone will then be put through an acting and grooming workshop and assessed on their acting capabilities. This hunt will air as a reality series on Vijay TV; judged by the director/actor Suhasini Manirathnam along with other known faces from the television industry in July 2008.
